Educational Qualification

• For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator) and Constable (Upholsterer):
• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
• Two years certificate course from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the trade or a similar trade; or
• One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Government-affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade;
• For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman).
• Constable (Barber), Constable (Sweeper) and Constable (Khoji/Syce):
• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;

BSF Recruitment 2025 Age Limit (as of 24-08-2025) 

• Minimum age Limit  : 18 years 
• Maximum age limit  : 25 years 
• Age Relaxation Will be applicable as per rules in BSF Recruitment 2025.
